Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
Agility Accountants & Advisors (Agility, LLC, "we") is a CPA-led accounting and advisory firm in Bel Air, Maryland. This policy explains what we collect through agility-accountants.com and the conversations that start here, what we do with it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us about it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies.
What we collect
What you give us
- Contact and request forms (contact, financial analysis, free downloads): your name, email, phone, company, website, and the answers you choose to give about your business, such as its size and accounting setup.
- The benchmark calculator: the figures you type in. The calculation runs in your browser; we receive the figures and the result only if you ask us to email them to you, together with the contact details you enter.
- The booking widget and the booking page: your name, email, phone and the time you choose. Appointments are booked through Google Calendar.
- The free Benchmark Snapshot: the profit and loss statement you share with us through a private Google Drive folder, and what you tell us on the calls.
- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to send or tell us.
What is collected automatically
- Visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
- How you found us. While your browser tab is open, the site remembers the first page you visited, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link. This is kept in your browser for that tab only (not a cookie) and is sent to us only if you submit a form.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, record technical details such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run the site and stop abuse.
- Fonts. A few pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded.
How we use it
- To answer you, schedule calls, and send what you asked for.
- To prepare your Benchmark Snapshot and, if you engage us, to do the work.
- To follow up from time to time after a Snapshot or an inquiry (see below).
- To understand which pages help visitors, so we can improve the site.
Follow-up emails, and how to stop them
If you request a Snapshot or contact us about our services, we may send you occasional emails afterwards: no more than one a month in the first months, and a few a year after that. Each one is identified as a marketing message and includes our postal address. To stop them, reply "stop" or email [email protected]. We honor a stop request promptly and always within 10 business days, and we keep only your email address and the date of your request so that we do not contact you again.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that run our systems on our behalf, under their own security and confidentiality terms:
- Google Workspace: our email, calendar, file storage and the spreadsheets that receive form submissions.
- Render: hosts this website.
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects the website and provides the visit counts.
If you ask us to refer you to a business funding partner, we share what that referral needs, with your permission. We also disclose information when the law or our professional standards require it. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Snapshot statements and working files are deleted 90 days after the results meeting, unless you engage us.
- Contact details and a short summary (your business, industry, revenue range and the rounded Snapshot result) are kept while we stay in touch: until you ask us to stop, or three years without a reply.
- Form submissions from people who do not become clients are kept for the same period and on the same terms.
- Client records are kept under the engagement letter and the record-keeping rules that apply to CPA firms.
Confidentiality and security
Information you share with us as a prospect is treated as confidential, the same way we treat client information under the professional standards that bind CPAs. Access is limited to the people at Agility who need it for your work, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and ordinary email is not encrypted: please do not email Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or passwords. We will send you a secure way to provide anything sensitive.
Your choices
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Records we must keep by law or professional standards are kept only as long as required.
Do Not Track and other sites
This site does not track you across other websites, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity across sites through it, so browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change how it works. Links to other sites, such as Facebook, the IRS or our funding partners, are governed by those sites' own policies.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we say so at the top of the page.
